Brofsky Law, LLC is a law firm that specializes in domestic relations litigation and mediation.  We represent individuals in all aspects of family law, including but not limited to the following practice areas: divorce, child custody, contempt, modification, paternity, abuse prevention, guardianships, restraining orders and premarital agreements. Our cases run the gamut from uncontested matters to high conflict disputes involving complex financial issues and highly contested child custody matters. Philosophically, our initial approach to most domestic relations matters is to explore the potential to collaboratively and amicably negotiate and resolve issues. It is always our goal to work toward achieving attainable and realistic solutions to the issues facing our clients so that they can move forward with their lives in a positive fashion. However, as litigation attorneys, we are very experienced in aggressively advocating and representing our client’s interests in the courtroom in cases where negotiation does not prove a viable option.

Our mediation practice provides the opportunity for parties to resolve their domestic relations disputes in a neutral and objective setting facilitated by a mediator experienced in family law.  Many couples successfully utilize this process to negotiate their issues under the guidance and direction of the mediator in order to arrive at a mutually crafted agreement.
